Operationalizing BGP in the SDDC
A 45 Minute Presentation and Q/A Session
with Dinesh Dutt and Ivan Pepelnjak
BGP is a popular routing protocol used in the Data Center (DC). But as the protocol that powers the Internet, it also comes armed with a lot of sophistication that scares many who think a CCIE or CCNA is required to even understand it.
This webinar will demystify BGP. We will start with an exploration of the reasons behind its popularity in the DC. We will take the sting out of configuring BGP, show how it can be made even more simple, discuss ideas behind the simplification, and how this helps automation. Even for people who are familiar with BGP, we posit that we'll be exploring novel concepts in configuration and troubleshooting. The talk will include demos of the concepts presented. Finally, we'll also cover some real customer use cases, from the mundane to the cutting edge.
We're excited to announce that we'll be kicking off this new webinar series with guest speaker Ivan Pepeljnak, the popular network blogger and technologist and considered by many to be an expert in the use of BGP.
Join us to Learn:
- How BGP fits in the DC with specific use cases
- How to configure and manage BGP traditionally and via new methods
